This little diner is a new restaurant in the Laurel district of Oakland.   The owners and staff are warm and nice, and the food is all that and then some. I recently dined here solo, and had a very positive experience. I ordered the roasted vegetable salad with poached eggs, YUMMM!!!! This place can take credit for me increasing my veggie portions for breakfast. The vegetable combinations that the chef comes up with to go with eggs is incredible, and it fills you up with out that heavy over eating feeling.   My server was kind, she even had a book recommendation for me, as I was reading my book enjoying a little quiet time. They check in on you routinely throughout your meal to ensure that you have all that you need. I have visited this place a few times since it has opened, and each time, I walk away satisfied and happy because it has a cool ambience and the owner Mrs Sequoia always takes the tine to personally greet me, and make me feel welcomed herself. 5 forks happily.
