Ms Ollie’s

I popped in to Ms Ollie’s one night right before they began to close and in spite of them winding down, they still made a point to accommodate me and went above and beyond to ensure that I got what I needed. On the door there was a menu from a previous brunch they’d just had. I wasn’t aware, and ordered from the wrong menu when I sat down. My server kindly explained to me that the fried chicken meal I ordered was actually smaller than the one on their dinner menu. He was so gracious, and insisted that making me the smaller portioned meal would not be a problem. He then helped me to decide on one of their delicious island cocktails, which was amazing, put my amended food order in, and brought me a fancy drink in record time. I felt welcomed and appreciated even though I was a solo diner at their cut off period in the night. When most places would be doing everything to close up, the staff at Ms Ollie’s made a point to take care of little old starving me. Needless to say, I ate great, and had a little slice of that ‘at home’ feeling throughout my meal. I had been to Ms Ollie’s a couple of times before, but since this last interaction with them, I can not wait to go back, for another round of delicious comfort food and great service.
