One lovely day I decided to play tourist in my own town.  My bestie and I walked thru all the shopping in Union Square and decided to have a special lunch at Cafe Bazille on the top floor of Nordstrom’s.  We were warmly greeted the minute the hostess saw us.   We were then led to the best window seating, with a direct view of the city in front of us.  Our server was very hospitable, looking in on us at every turn.  He made us feel so welcomed and appreciated.  Our food was delectable.  I ordered a delicious grilled salmon plate with Mediterranean couscous, and dill sauce.  My friend had their three tiered bistro club sandwich, which he thoroughly enjoyed.   We both had a special cocktail that put us in a good place, so we decided to skip desert to walk around some more.  Our lunch experience was so positive that we couldn’t stop talking about it.  Definitely a restaurant that I would LOVE to go back to.  If you are visiting San Francisco, I highly recommend stopping by Bazille to relax for a bit.  Along with their great service you will enjoy their tasty menu, and their beautiful views of the city.
