Little Gem is a great little place that I like to stop in for quality time with my self. My sanctuary of choice, it is here where I slow down, have a tasty bite to eat, a nice glass of wine, and catch my breath.  It is a quiet and quaint little restaurant located in the hustling, bustling Hayes Valley of San Francisco.  I have dined here on numerous occasions because the food is so fresh and flavorful, but I keep coming back because the service is so on point!  Little Gem is a calm, restoring oasis in the midst of all the busy. They have delicious and healthy pressed juices, and very tasty wines on deck.  On one such occasion, I enjoyed a glass of Rose’, and feasted on the Bibimbap, which came with seasonal vegetables, brown rice, chili garlic sauce, and a fried egg…..all I can say is #YUMMMMM!!!  Although I didn’t get one of their seasonal salads this time, just know that they are alllll that you need a salad to be; fresh crisp butter lettuce, colorful watermelon radishes, creamy avocado, savory beets, toasted pepitas, and a perfectly balanced citrusy dressing, a great portioned size, yes! they do it right every time …, this is a place where you order your food first, the staff brings it out to you, and tends to you the whole time you’re there; you still receive the same or even better ‘full-service’ you’d get at a traditional sit down restaurant.  They make you feel attended to, so that you’re not looking around wanting for any thing.  I really appreciate that in a restaurant, a place that is not only warm and welcoming, but they actually anticipate your needs so that you have a seamless experience of dining and relaxing.  The vibe is very well thought out, the food is some of the best SF has to offer for all eaters, plant based and carnivores alike.  Try out Little Gem when you can; you will leave happier than you arrived, and I can attest to that!
