Trying to feed young people ~ away from home is always a challenge  (foods that they recognize and crave).  Well, I am always on the lookout for hearty kid friendly dishes that will fill my kid up.  Sapporo Sushi and Steak House was just what the Dr ordered- while we were on vacation in Monterey one day.  We wound up getting the chicken teriyaki that came with steamed rice and broccoli & also the salmon teriyaki.  Both were stand outs…. above standard for these Japanese staple dishes.  The staff in  this place was so warm and welcoming.  I remember feeling well looked after for the short time that we were there.  Exceptional food, and great customer service.  I just had to give this place a shout out because they came through when we were hungry, possibly hangry, desperately looking for food and needing a win, lol.  This place rocks!  Thank you Sapporo Sushi & Steak House for treating me and my daughter like we were valued customers in your place, and also ‘kudos’ to your young staff who so thoughtfully met all of our needs.  We will most definitely be going back:)
