Happy Girl Kitchen made me sooo happy the first time I visited them, that I went back the next day and took my whole family. Based in Monterey, CA their food is scrumptious and healthy and the vibe here is warm and welcoming. The team that works here is heavily invested in the success of the place and you can tell that they care about each customer’s experience. I stumbled in here looking for lattes and fresh baked goods to take home, and left with several tasty items including lunch to go. I tried their chickpea frittata which came with a tahini dressing, and it was YUMMMMMM. I grabbed a cold peanut noodle salad to share later, an apple walnut muffin, an apricot bar and some coffee to go. I had a hard time leaving this place because the staff was so nice, and I actually wanted everything on the menu. I scaled back, to say the least. Yet, I was there with my small family in tow the very next day, for more of the same….. the food was of course, excellent and the vibe was somehow nicer – if that’s even possible. Happy Girl Kitchen will make sure that you leave there happy. You owe it to your self to go there. Their farm to table foods are everything that you need.
