Can I just say that I may be biased here, but Rumors in SF is an absolute gem of a place. It appears to be a hole in the wall from the outside, but once you get inside, you will see just how big it is. Spacious seating, and even pool tables in the back. The food is great bar food, and the folks are just great bar folks. Every time I have stepped inside of Rumors, it has been an instant good time. The vibe is sweet here, and everyone who works here keeps the atmosphere light and playful. What a great place to pop in to after work for a decompressing drink or a reenergizing snack, and an update on the ins and outs of sports. I forgot to mention that it is a booming sports bar where they’ve always got the game goin; any game!

I visited this place about 5yrs ago and had the exact same experience….. happiness ensued, and I left there, feeling like I’d had a good time. I am biased because I discovered a well respected high school alumni working here. Serendipity to be exact. Both times I have visited this place I have been blown away with how sweet the staff is, and how cool the patrons are that frequent this spot. Now any time I am SF, I just may pop in for a quick drink or a small bite, just be grounded in the feel good energy that is buzzing throughout this place. Way to go Rumors! You guys are the place to be any time after work, and for any game that you want to watch….They got it going on here!
