Being that I am from the Lone Star state, it just made sense that I would fall in love with a bar called the Lone Star Saloon. Well, it’s really not about the name, or the Texas reference for me. Its really about the great service and cool vibe in this place. I had the pleasure of visiting last Friday and the bartender / owner was the absolute coolest. Even when I asked for a drink that I had no business ordering; he just chuckled and hooked me up with a more ‘appropriate’ drink for where I was at in my day, lol. The couple of gentlemen at the bar also chimed in with the laughter, at my expense because I was being silly and overly ambitious. I enjoyed our small talk and banter, then I got my self situated out on their back patio to chill for a bit. I just LOVE when bars have outside seating, whether it’s in the back, or on a rooftop. Being outside as the sun is going down always feels like a good idea. The dusk vibe is nice to experience in an establishment that also makes you show proof of vaccination before you can enter. Protect those patrons and keep bar life alive, all in one swoop. I enjoyed my time at this outdoor bar (there is an inside, but I sit outside these days due to the pandemic). I appreciate having the option. Looking forward to more laughter and good times when I visit this place again. Cheers!
