I was fortunate enough to stop by Angela’s Kitchen last week. I stopped in for a beet and citrus salad, (that was exquisite, btw), and I realized that I need more time to spend here. Yes, I picked up my salad to-go, bathos I wish I had stayed and ordered more off of the menu. In the short amount of time that I was in the restaurant to pick up my food, I could see that their menu was decadent ~ for the serious foodie in me, lol. I was immediately taken care of by the kind gentleman at the bar who also offered me some fresh cold water while I waited for my salad to be prepared. As he was ringing up my order, he saw my name and made a point to let me know that he formerly worked at a restaurant named after me. Or rather the restaurant is named after a place, that I share my name with. He spoke very fondly of his experience there, and subsequently gave me a great experience while I was a customer. I used their restroom to wash my hands and the whole place looked impeccable. The staff was thoughtful and pleasing. The atmosphere was cool and laid back on a Friday eve, and the food smelled glorious. I regretted not ordering more, but now I have a serious reason to return. See you soon Angela’s Kitchen. I look forward to more happy moments in your lovely restaurant.
